Welcome to zkMe’s first-ever Monthly Update!
We have been so busy since our launch that we haven’t had an opportunity to share all of the exciting things happening at zkMe on a regular basis. This report aims to keep our wider community in the loop about our latest product developments and achievements that occurred in the past month. Additionally, we will look to highlight some of the latest trends related to privacy and compliance in crypto.
In March we had one of our most successful months to date by achieving over 10% MoM growth, crossing over 470k unique user credential attestations and signing our 50th partner LOI! On top of this, we hosted our first-ever solo event at the HK Web3 Festival and expanded our team.
The recent spate of enforcement actions by United States authorities against various crypto projects shows that the landscape is evolving at a rapid pace, and we remain confident that zkMe is well-positioned to be the leading zk-identity layer for web3.

COMMUNITY
We seized the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of events as part of the Web3 Festival in Hong Kong, demonstrating to existing and future partners how our zero-knowledge (ZK) identity layer solves many challenges in today’s market.
Several highlights for zkMe included the following:

- Co-Sponsoring the Open Stage at the main festival location
- Co-Sponsoring the @IOST event.
On the sidelines of the Hong Kong Web3 Festival, we hosted an event for industry partners and investors titled “Shaping the Future of Identity.”
The objective of the event was to share insights on the issues relating to identity and know-your-customer (KYC) in the web3 landscape, learn about the ease of zkMe integration and give more insight into our vision to become the leading web3 zero knowledge (ZK) identity layer.

Statistics
In April, our platform showed significant growth compared to March. Attestations (covering all zkMe-supported verification steps like SSI, MeID, zkPoC, AML, zkPoL, zkKYC, and activity participation) increased by 12.7% to 488K highlighting our strong verification processes. Downloads rose by 18.6% to 21K indicating a growing interest in our services. This overall growth underscores our commitment to providing secure and user-friendly solutions.
Key highlights of Technical Updates
- zkMe App Enhancements: Enhanced privacy and security in identity verification through advanced KYC and AML processes using zero-knowledge proofs.
- zkMe Dashboard Improvements: Simplified user interface and adjusted network configurations in response to external testnet changes for improved user experience.
- Widget Upgrade: Upgraded widget supports multi-region AWS nodes for faster and more reliable KYC checks through facial recognition. This significantly mitigates issues related to network fluctuations and transmission delays, ensuring smoother and more efficient operations.
- zkMe Web Version Update: The latest update ensures uninterrupted service by removing dependencies on discontinued testnets and preparing for mainnet migration.
- Official Website Enhancements: The website now offers a more resilient demo widget (migrated from Polygon Mumbai testnet to Zetachain Athens3 testnet) and improved user engagement through an Email Newsletter subscription feature.
PARTNERSHIP
StationX, a global capital coordination protocol, has integrated zkMe’s zkKYC solution to provide a compliant, decentralized and secure KYC solution to anyone who deploys a “Station” on the platform.
Founded on a belief that there is too much friction with global capital coordination and a concern that capital itself is unevenly distributed, StationX seeks to solve this by merging the best principles of self-custody and unlock entrepreneurial energy across the world.
The native integration ensures the privacy and security of StationX user identities by leveraging zkMe’s pioneering use of ZKPs (zero-knowledge proofs), while also ensuring compliance with increasing financial regulations.
