GasZero and zkMe have teamed up to provide one of the most efficient oracle and KYC services on the market, along with a potential for extended oracle services.

GasZero Solves the Gas Problem

Since the inception of cryptocurrencies, the industry has developed a method to decentralize the ownership, and along with it the burden, of networks. This has traditionally been done via gas fees; a fee paid to the one who does the computation necessary to maintain coherence of the network, charged to those who perform transactions or execution of smart contracts on the network.

Enter GasZero, a scaling solution breaking the norms to create the next step in the industry. With a 0Gas solution, this cost to the user has been solved, allowing a more attractive solution to form for those looking into leveraging blockchain technology. With a layer 2 that allows for 0Gas transactions, it allows for a much more efficient use of the network especially for those that may be transactional and computationally intensive. For example, if a company has a great many KYC checks they need to perform, or a financial institution must perform KYB checks for every transaction despite its high frequency, it may save a significant amount in cost to have a gasless network to piggy back the oracle function on.

The gasless nature of GasZero also provides a great experimental playground in which zkMe and future oracle functions may shine. Oracle functions tied to online IDs, such as web2 integrations, often take a higher amount of network bandwidth as data is often confirmed or updated more frequently. Such features would of course, greatly leverage the gasless nature of GasZero.
