StationX, a global capital coordination protocol, have adopted zkMe’s KYC (know your customer) toolkit on top of their existing infrastructure, providing a safe and verified environment for their users. StationX allows communities to create onchain special purpose vehicles (SPVs, or “stations”) to pool capital seamlessly and deploy as a single entity. The native integration ensures the privacy and security of StationX user identities by leveraging zkMe’s pioneering use of ZKPs (zero-knowledge proofs), while also ensuring compliance with increasing financial regulations.
StationX is building co-ordination tools for the new internet
Founded on a belief that there is too much friction with global capital coordination and a concern that capital itself is unevenly distributed, StationX seeks to solve this by merging the best principles of self-custody and unlock entrepreneurial energy across the world.
Stations abstract away the complexities of shuffling between tools like wallets, multisigs, sheets, and tokens for communities pooling capital. The platform further integrates with an intent layer that allows stations to perform onchain operations like sending funds, swapping assets, distributing returns and deducting fees.
zkMe solves compliance issues via its web3 native KYC solution
StationX has integrated zkMe’s zkKYC solution to provide a compliant, decentralized and secure KYC solution to anyone who deploys a “Station” on the platform.
zkKYC is a solution that enables web3 businesses to comply with regulatory requirements while maintaining decentralization and the privacy and security of their customers’ data. It uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify user identity without revealing sensitive information, making it possible to fulfill global KYC requirements in the least intrusive manner.
In this case, StationX has natively deployed zkKYC into its workflow, allowing fund managers to KYC their investors before receiving deposits into their station, ensuring compliance and building trust. The zkMe identity oracle enables users to verify their credentials for KYC and AML purposes without compromising their anonymity.
With the broader crypto market and in particular the DeFi space undergoing increasing regulatory scrutiny, it is becoming increasingly evident that all participants will need to adopt solutions that protect the user and meet the evolving regulatory requirements. zkMe is built specifically to meet these challenges with a core philosophy of providing identity infrastructure that is private-by-design, secure-by-design and decentralized-by-design.
