ZetaChain × zkMe | Begin the Testnet Journey
zkMe has officially launched on ZetaChain, an EVM-compatible L1 blockchain that connects everything. The ZetaChain × zkMe Testnet event now sincerely invites you to embark on a thrilling journey of Privacy, Security and Efficiency.
By following the steps below, you can now obtain your Omni Soulbound Token (Omni SBT) and connect your wallet to ZetaChain. Early contributors (Testnet OAT holders) can earn exclusive OAT not available to the general public.
Omni SBTs, developed in partnership with ZetaChain, are non-transferable, non-fungible tokens representing verified user credentials. These tokens can be used by the user to prove eligibility criteria for decentralized applications (dApps) on that chain ecosystem. This is where the major breakthrough lies: these tokens are not limited to one chain but are recognized across all chains connected via ZetaChain’s Omnichain technology. This interoperability significantly broadens the tokens’ applicability and reach.

How to mint your Omni SBT on ZetaChain?

To ensure a smooth SBT claiming process, here are a few additional suggestions:
1. Create your account for a decentralized, self-sovereign identity wallet
- Check the email inbox to verify.
- Set a zkMe Domain and get your account.
2. Verify your credentials to ensure privacy and immutability
- Prepare your documents for credential verification. (You may choose any one of the following: passport, identity card, or driver’s license.)
- Click [Get Started] to continue.
- Confirm your document information. (Important : We will not store it)
- Do your facial recognition.
- Then congratulations, your credential is verified and your Soulbound Token will be minted, complete the verification process and wait for the SBT to be issued.
3. ✨Connect the ZetaChain network with your wallet for smooth access to DeFi, Game-Fi, and more
- Click [Connection] button to add a new network.
- Select ZetaChain as your network and your wallet to connect.
- Authorize your wallet to complete the signature process and bind it to the zkMe app by QR code or wallet connection directly.
